The big blue
The Big Blue is a movie about the bonds between family and friendshipthrough the sea. The concept for this title sequence is to portray the heavy
heart that the characters carry with the use of graphics and a muted blue colour.
The idea of having two openings (through the mask and windows) depicts
the choices that Jacq has in his life - the choice between reality or the ocean.
The title logo appears with Jacq at his happiest moments and the whole sequence
ends with a golden coin, transitioning to the first scene of the actual film.
